Finding web pages with Semanti is simple.
Just go to your search engine's search bar and start typing in the terms. When logged into Semanti, you will notice that as you type you get a drop-down of definitions that lets you choose from various terms and their definitions. This is Semanti Suggest.

There may be several different definitions of a given term and so the specific definitions are shown in brief to the right of the term with a longer definition popping out as you move up and down through the list of terms. So, for example, for apple you can choose from 'the computer company', 'the fruit', 'the record label' and so on.
Choose the meaning that you intend either by clicking on that term or by hitting enter when that term is highlighted.
The term will show up underlined in the search bar when you have selected the meaning you are looking for. Add more terms until you've specified what you're looking for. Note that if you put the mouse cursor over the underlined term the definition will be displayed. You can enter multiple terms or multiple terms with definitions selected combined with keywords (no definitions selected). Keywords will appear in the search bar as they normally do (no underline), making it relatively easy to tell which words you have assigned a specific meaning to.
When you've finished specifying your search terms hit enter and you will see the results page. Above your usual search results you will see the Semanti results in two sections. The upper section contains your personal and social network results for your search. The lower section displays what we call 'World Results". These are the pages that other Semanti users have remembered with the terms you searched for. So while the results are not from those in your network, they still promise to be relevant to what you were searching for.
Below the Semanti My Web results are the results from your search engine provider as they would have come back with only a keyword search. We don't change the results that are returned by Google, Yahoo! or Bing, but we will complete some visual filtering on those results when we know that the page is not relevant to your search. We do this by displaying only the page title and do so in gray. See the help page on Removing Results for more information.
Just like with your regular search engine results, simply click on a link to visit the corresponding page. The differences between your Semanti results and the regular search engine results is that they are:
- always going to be "on topic" because you specified exactly what you mean and;
- they have been added by Semanti users like yourself instead of a computer algorithm.
