In some cases, you may want to tighten or loosen Semanti's rigidity, to return more or less results. Semanti provides you the option to narrow or broaden the precision of the search.

The underlying is quite complex, but the broadest level of search will match text anywhere on the saved page and use synonyms to any terms you have chosen definitions for using Semanti Suggest. Broadening your search can be helpful for searches where you know pages have been saved but your terms may be vague or slightly off the mark.

The narrowest search level when used with Semanti Suggest will return only pages that were labeled with the precise definitions of your search terms. Narrowing results can be helpful when searching for a page that has been saved with a very active label in your personal and social results.

You can adjust the default search level in the advanced tab of the settings, if required.
