Sharing Links to Twitter
Adding a Twitter Account
- Use the Semanti Button in your browser and select Save and Share on a link you would like to share via Twitter
- Place a checkmark in the box next to Twitter (Under share a link)
- Edit the labels, message and hash tags and click 'Save'
- A message will come up asking for log in credentials for a Twitter account. Simply enter the
information for the account you want to share the link through and click 'Allow'.
Note: The option to "Always Save and Share when I click the Semanti button" will change the behavior of the button from a one-click save to always show the save and share dialogue allowing you to share links easily.
Some people have more than one Twitter account that they would like to use when they share links using Semanti. While we are working on multiple account support, for now only one account can be used at a time. If you need to change the Twitter accounts, you will need to remove access for one account (steps below) and add the other account using the steps above.Removing an account
- Log into Twitter using the credentials for the account Semanti is currently linked to.
- On the Twitter page, click Settings and choose the "Connections" tab
- Locate the Semanti Connection and click on "Revoke Access"
- Log out of the Twitter account and follow the steps to add a Twitter account above.
